Summary

The sensRAI team developed a unique opposed piston 4 stroke compression ignition engine designed to run on a variety of fuels. The opposed piston architecture ensured an extremely low level of vibration, and the flexible design enabled the system to be run on a variety of fuels. With the rapid movement on hybrid systems relying on more conventional ICE designs it was decided to stop the development at the working prototype stage.
