Simon Albury, Director, BEng, MBA

Simon has worked in senior engineering and director roles in telecoms operators (including Telecom New Zealand, Bellsouth and Sprint) equipment manufacturers, including 3Way Networks and ip.access, and most recently hybrid and renewable power systems company Controllis. Simon has run multiple engineering companies in the UK and has senior program management experience on major communications and defence projects in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and Australasia - Simon's key engineering skills include; systems design architecture, mechanical engineering, high level programming and MMI development.

Mark Anderson, BSc, Software Architect

Mark is a software design consultant with over 25 years extensive domain knowledge in Communications Protocols, IOT, professional motorsports (Formula 1, Indy Car Racing). Mark was a senior design engineer at Nokia, involved in the design of local and cloud based cellular network delivery systems. In addition to his software engineering roles Mark has also been a consultant in biometrics systems, provided analysis and reporting for institutions and acted as an expert advisor in legal cases.

Dr Chris Moore, BSc (Hons), PhD, System and Software Design

Chris is an expert engineer who, following a career in the defence sector, has held a range of senior positions in a number of engineering start-up companies. Chris has extensive embedded software development expertise in Mobile communications systems, Battery Management Systems, IOT architectures, and advanced control systems. Chris was co-founder of femtocell company 3Way and a founder of green power company Controllis. In the biotech sector Chris was CEO of SCIM microscope company Ionscope..

Lance Davidson, BEng, Ceng, Electronic Engineering Design

Lance has extensive electronic design and development experience in the Telecoms, Defence and Power sectors spanning over 30 years. Lance's past positions include: Head of Hardware at 3Way Networks/Airvana, Head of Hardware at ip.access and various development roles at BAE Systems, Alcatel Submarine Systems, GEC Marconi and STC.

Steve Kohalmi, BS, MS, System Architect and US Associate

Steve is a strategist, advocate, and subject matter expert in LTE/5G mobile networks and security. Steve is currently consulting in the private 5G deployments and security sectors. Previous positions include Distinguished Engineer at Juniper Networks; Founder and CTO at Quarry Technologies; Director of Technology at Airvana. Steve is a contributing author to 5G/LTE security specifications at the 3GPP SA3 standards organization.
